Turner left Saturday's game against the Twins early after fouling a pitch off his right knee, Scott Lauber of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

After fouling a ball off his right knee, Turner was removed in the eighth inning, though with the Phillies leading 8-1 at the time, it's possible they were being extra cautious with the 33-year-old as he battled some pain. Justin Crawford replaced Turner in the game while Edmundo Sosa moved over to shortstop from left field.

The Brewers acquired Ornelas from the Athletics on Saturday in exchange for cash considerations.

Ornelas was pushed off the Athletics' 40-man roster Monday, but he'll reclaim a spot upon moving to Milwaukee. He'll report directly to the big club to help shore up the Brewers' infield depth as they navigate injuries to Brice Turang (knee) and Cooper Pratt (hamstring). Ji Hwan Bae was designated for assignment in a corresponding move.

Adames (back) isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Rockies, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Adames aggravated a back injury during Wednesday's game against Houston, and although the team still believes he'll avoid a trip to the injured list, the 30-year-old will now miss a second consecutive start. Christian Koss will move over to shortstop while Adames sits, opening up third base for Buddy Kennedy.

Swanson isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Cardinals.

Swanson will move to the bench Saturday after going 1-for-3 with a steal and a run scored during Friday's victory. His absence will cause Nico Hoerner to move over to shortstop, opening up second base for Pedro Ramirez.

Perdomo went 4-for-5 with a double and a run scored in Friday's 2-0 win over Atlanta.

Perdomo got started early with a leadoff single and eventually scored on a groundout. The multi-hit effort was his seventh in the last 13 games and his second time with four hits during that stretch. The Diamondbacks' current leadoff batter is slashing .415/.466/.585 with five extra-base hits, five walks, five RBI and seven runs scored over that run.

Lindor went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Friday's 4-1 win over Washington.

Lindor committed an error that contributed to Washington's only run in the third inning, but he made amends at the plate. With New York having just one hit entering the sixth, Lindor launched a game-tying solo homer off Andrew Alvarez to ignite a four-run stretch over the next two frames. It was his 12th home run of the season and his second in his last four games. Lindor has endured a disappointing offensive campaign, but his recent power surge offers some encouragement as he attempts to improve upon his .240 average and .769 OPS. He's seeing the ball well of late and has hit safely in seven of his last eight games.

Bogaerts went 1-for-1 with a two-run home run, an additional RBI and two walks in Friday's 7-5 win over Cleveland.

Bogaerts made the most of his lone official at-bat, launching a two-run homer off Gavin Williams in the fourth inning to cut San Diego's deficit to 3-2. He later added a sacrifice fly in the seventh to give the Padres some insurance. The long ball was Bogaerts' 11th of the season, and while the veteran has put up a relatively quiet offensive campaign, more outings like Friday's would provide a spark for the Padres' offense over the final weeks of the regular season. He's still hitting just .223 with a below-average .653 OPS.

Pratt (hamstring) could be cleared to return from the 10-day injured list after a minimum-length stay, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

The Brewers originally anticipated getting Pratt back sometime in late August after he landed on the injured list Sunday with a strained hamstring. However, he's already made significant progress in his recovery and could now be on track to return from the IL when eligible Wednesday. The team has already confirmed that Pratt will head out on a rehab assignment before being activated, though he likely won't need more than a game or two to ramp up.

Adames (back) is not in the Giants' starting lineup against the Rockies on Friday.

As expected, Adames will be on the bench for Friday's game while working through a back injury that he aggravated during Wednesday's loss to the Astros. An MRI on Friday revealed a low back strain, but a stint on the injured is unlikely for the 30-year-old shortstop, who is considered day-to-day, per Justice delos Santos of The San Jose Mercury News. With Adames sidelined, Christian Koss will draw the start at shortstop while Buddy Kennedy mans the hot corner.

Johnson has been diagnosed with a torn ACL and LCL in his left knee and will undergo season-ending surgery, Colin Beazley of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Johnson had to be carted off the field during this past Saturday's game with Triple-A Indianapolis after stumbling over the first-base bag while attempting to leg out an infield single. It's a brutal injury for the 22-year-old infielder, who will undergo more examinations before undergoing surgery, with an eye toward being back on the field during the 2027 season. Johnson had a .651 OPS with 24 steals (in 30 attempts), eight home runs and 37 RBI across 401 plate appearances in Triple-A this season before the injury.
