Jackson (undisclosed) has gone 5-for-25 (.200 average) with two doubles, two steals and a 2:5 BB:K in six games for Double-A Somerset since being reinstated from the 7-day injured list Aug. 23.

Jackson ended up missing just over a week due to an unspecified injury. The 22-year-old infielder owns a .238/.327/.333 slash line and has gone a perfect 6-for-6 on stolen-base attempts over 49 plate appearances at Somerset since being promoted from High-A Hudson Valley on Aug. 11.

Lombard (knee) is not listed in the Yankees' starting lineup against the Angels on Monday, per Chris Kirschner of The Athletic.

Lombard will miss his second consecutive game after injuring himself during Saturday's matchup against Boston. Jose Caballero will once again man shortstop and bat eighth for New York. Manager Aaron Boone noted before the matchup that Lombard did some running earlier in the day, and he's unsure if the rookie will be available off the bench, per Gary Phillips of the New York Daily News.

Monasterio is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Mariners.

After starting in all but three games from July 22 through Saturday, Monasterio will remain on the bench for the second day in a row in the wake of Trevor Story's return from the 60-day injured list. Though Story could have his workload monitored to some degree following his return from sports hernia surgery, he'll still be in store for the lion's share of starts at shortstop while Monasterio transitions into more of a utility role.

Baez could see his playing time limited down the stretch, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.

Baez has started more than 75 percent of the Tigers' games since returning from an ankle injury in late July. However, with the team's playoff chances looking remote, the Tigers want to get a look at some younger players in the final month of the regular season. Baez -- who is set to earn $24 million in 2027 in his final year under contract -- has slashed .255/.285/.369 with two homers in 46 contests this season.

Rodden is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Red Sox.

Weston Wilson will enter the starting nine at third base in place of Rodden. The switch-hitting infielder had been included in the lineup in each of the Mariners' last six games, going 0-for-16 with a 2:4 BB:K during that stretch.

The Mariners transferred Emerson (wrist) from the 10-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Monday.

The transaction frees up a spot on the 40-man roster for the return of Cooper Criswell from the 60-day IL. Emerson underwent season-ending surgery last week to repair a tendon in his left wrist.

Story started at shortstop and went 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored in Sunday's 16-1 loss to the Yankees.

Story was activated Sunday after a lengthy stay on the injured list due to a sports hernia. He's expected to resume his role as the everyday shortstop while Boston seeks to clinch a spot in the postseason.

Duran went 2-for-5 with a home run, a double, three RBI and two runs scored in Sunday's 7-4 win over the Brewers.

Duran took Dustin May deep for a solo homer in the third inning, giving him 15 long balls on the season. He delivered again in his next plate appearance, smacking a two-run ground-rule double to put Texas ahead. Duran has been swinging a hot bat over his last 10 games, going 15-for-37 (.405) with six extra-base hits. He's batting .273 with a .781 OPS across 128 games this season.

Henderson went 4-for-4 with two home runs, a triple, five total RBI and three total runs scored in Sunday's 8-5 win over the Athletics.

Henderson went off in the series finale, blasting a solo homer in the first inning and a three-run shot in the fifth as part of a four-hit effort. It was a much-needed performance for the shortstop, who hit just .182 with no long balls over his previous 10 games. The 25-year-old has endured a disappointing 2026 campaign, slashing .223/.307/.408 with 22 homers, 57 RBI, 82 runs and 10 stolen bases across 136 contests.

Allen went 3-for-4 with a double in Sunday's 6-3 win over the Mets.

There's not often room in the lineup for Allen when the Astros' infield is healthy, but he got a start at third base while Isaac Paredes served as the designated hitter Sunday. Allen has gone 9-for-29 (.310) over 18 contests in August, but it would likely take an injury for his playing time to meaningfully increase. He's hitting .276 with a .683 OPS, two home runs, two stolen bases, 13 RBI, 21 runs scored and five doubles over 143 plate appearances this season.
