Lowe went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Tigers.

The veteran second baseman took Justin Verlander deep in the fourth inning, in the future Hall of Famer's final career start. Lowe has put together an impressive first season with the Pirates, slashing .260/.331/.493 in 150 games with 35 homers and 96 RBI, the second-highest totals of his career after his 39-homer, 99-RBI eruption for the Rays in 2021.

Meidroth (hamstring) isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Rockies.

Meidroth will get another day off to recover from a hamstring issue that's been bothering him as the White Sox aim to get him as healthy as possible for the postseason. Sam Antonacci will start at second base as a result, opening up left field for Randal Grichuk.

Edwards (thumb) isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against Atlanta.

Edwards will miss a sixth consecutive game Saturday as he continues to recover from a thumb injury he aggravated last week. Jared Serna will start at second base again and bat ninth; meanwhile, Edwards will have just one more opportunity to play again this year before the season ends Sunday.

Semien isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against Washington.

Semien will step out of the starting nine Saturday after going just 1-for-19 across New York's last five games. Ronny Mauricio will replace him at second base and bat ninth.

Torres isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against Pittsburgh.

Torres will miss a third straight start Saturday as the Tigers continue to limit his reps before he enters free agency this winter. His absence will allow Eduardo Valencia to serve as the designated hitter while batting fourth.

Keaschall went 4-for-5 with a double, a triple, three RBI and three runs scored in Friday's 10-2 win over the Rangers.

Keaschall spearheaded Minnesota's offensive explosion against Jacob deGrom. His two-run triple capped the biggest portion of the Twins' six-run second inning, and he subsequently scored on a wild pitch before adding an RBI double in the fourth. Keaschall singled in the sixth and later scored on Kody Clemens' two-run homer, leaving him a home run shy of the cycle. It was the second four-hit performance of his career, with his first coming Sept. 4, 2025. Keaschall is ending the regular season on a strong note, as he's hitting .305 with an .822 OPS across 21 games since the beginning of September.

Turang went 3-for-5 with two doubles, three RBI and two runs scored in Friday's 8-4 win over the Cardinals.

Turang contributed throughout the night before delivering the decisive hit in Milwaukee's four-run eighth inning. With the bases loaded and the game tied 4-4, he singled through the left side to score Jackson Chourio and David Hamilton, putting the Brewers ahead for good. Turang also collected two doubles earlier in the game, giving him two multi-hit performances over his last three contests. The star second baseman is ending the regular season on a sizzling note, hitting .368 with a 1.076 OPS in 22 games since the beginning of September.

Arroyo went 2-for-4 with one RBI and one stolen base in Friday's 7-5 loss to the Angels.

Arroyo has hit safely in just five of his 13 games in the majors, but three of those instances have included multiple hits. The rookie is batting .310 with an .883 OPS, one home run, two steals, four RBI, four runs scored and two doubles over 35 plate appearances. Consistency is still a work in progress, but Arroyo is poised to compete for an everyday job in the not-too-distant future.

Moore went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Friday's 7-5 win over the Mariners.

Moore has gone 7-for-23 (.304) with eight RBI over his last seven games. The infielder has also struck out nine times in that span, but he has turned things around after a slump in mid-September. For the season, he's hitting just .186 with a .516 OPS, two homers, 18 RBI, four runs scored, four doubles, one triple and one stolen base over 139 plate appearances. With a 33.8 percent strikeout rate in the majors this year, Moore has failed to demonstrate a more patient approach at the plate, which has kept his overall offense limited.

Edman isn't in the lineup for Friday's game against the Giants.

Edman will move to the bench to begin Friday's contest after going 1-for-10 with a homer, three RBI and three runs scored during the Dodgers' last series against San Diego. Enrique Hernandez will fill in at second base and bat ninth.
