Twins' Trevor Larnach: Goes yard in win
Larnach went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a second RBI and two total runs scored in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Angels.
This was his fourth multi-hit effort over nine games in July, though he's also been held hitless four times this month. Larnach is batting .323 (10-for-31) with five extra-base hits and five RBI in July. For the season, the outfielder is hitting .289 with an .830 OPS, seven homers, 32 RBI, 44 runs scored, two stolen bases, 18 doubles and a triple across 80 contests.

Twins' Andrew Morris: Picks up two-inning save
Morris allowed a hit and a walk while striking out two over two scoreless innings to earn the save in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Angels.
Yoendrys Gomez pitched Saturday, but it's unclear if that played a role in Morris staying in for a second inning to get the save. Morris has plenty of experience with longer outings -- he's recorded four or more outs in 13 of his 35 appearances (two starts) this season while working his way into the high-leverage mix. He's at a 3.33 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 48:14 K:BB with three saves, 13 holds and two blown saves over 46 innings. While Morris has worked as a starter in the minors, both of his starts in the majors have been as the opener of bullpen games, so it's unlikely he'll get fully stretched out in 2026.

Twins' Taj Bradley: Secures third straight win
Bradley (9-3) allowed two runs on six hits and two walks while striking out six over seven innings to earn the win Sunday over the Angels.
Bradley didn't reach the strikeout highs of his last two outings, but he was able to earn a third straight win and his fourth victory in his last five starts. He limited the damage Sunday to solo home runs by Josh Lowe and Denzer Guzman. Bradley has allowed just eight runs over his last 31 innings while adding a 38:10 K:BB in that span. For the season, he's pitched to a 3.59 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 118:40 K:BB through 102.2 innings over 18 starts.

Twins' Alan Roden: Garnering look in everyday role
Roden will start in right field and bat seventh in Sunday's game against the Angels.
Roden was left out of the lineup for Tuesday's 3-1 win over the Guardians after being called up from Triple-A St. Paul that day, but he's picked up starts in each of the Twins' ensuing five games. He's thus far gone 3-for-11 with two walks and three RBI while slotting between the sixth and eighth spots in the lineup. Roden should get the chance to play regularly against right-handed pitching while Byron Buxton (hip) is on the shelf.

Twins' Victor Caratini: Back in No. 2 role at catcher
Caratini is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Angels.
On the bench for the third time in four games, Caratini has faded back into the No. 2 role at catcher following Ryan Jeffers' recent return from the injured list. While Jeffers was on the shelf, Caratini produced admirably in his stead, slashing .281/.361/.491 with six home runs, 19 RBI and 15 runs over 34 games.

Twins' Tristan Gray: Cedes shortstop to Kreidler on Sunday
Gray is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Angels.
Though he had started against three straight right-handed pitchers, Gray will give way to Ryan Kreidler on Sunday against Angels righty Jose Soriano. Gray could still rank as the Twins' preferred option at shortstop coming out of the All-Star break, as Kreidler has fizzled at the plate of late. Since churning out back-to-back three-hit performances June 20 and 21, Kreidler has slashed .167/.200/.250 over his subsequent 15 games.

Twins' Royce Lewis: Swats homer No. 10
Lewis went 2-for-4 with a double, a two-run home run and a second run scored in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Angels.
The first baseman got the Twins on the board in the second inning by taking Ryan Johnson deep, then came home with the winning run in the seventh after a leadoff double. Lewis is still struggling to put together a true hot streak, but over his last 12 games he's batting .255 (12-for-47) with four doubles and three of his 10 homers on the season.

Twins' Yoendrys Gomez: Notches 11th save
Gomez gave up a hit and a walk in a scoreless ninth inning Saturday to record his 11th save of the season in a 5-3 win over the Angels. He struck out one.
The right-hander continues to impress at the back of the Twins' bullpen. Gomez has gone 10-for-10 in converting save chances since being acquired from the Rays in early May, producing a 1.71 ERA, 0.99 WHIP and 25:10 K:BB over 26.1 innings for his new club.

Twins' Joe Ryan: Quality start in no-decision
Ryan didn't factor into the decision in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Angels, allowing two runs on six hits and two walks over six innings. He struck out six.
The right-hander continues to have trade rumors circling his head, but Ryan didn't let it bother him Saturday, delivering his 12th quality start of the season on 94 pitches (61 strikes). He was in line for his seventh win of the year, but the Twins' bullpen let the lead slip away in the top of the seventh before the Minnesota offense surged ahead for good. Ryan has fired two straight quality starts and will take a 2.85 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 128:25 K:BB through 110.1 innings into the All-Star break.

Twins' Tommy LaPour: Lands with Minnesota
The Twins selected LaPour with the No. 107 overall pick in the 2026 First-Year Player Draft.
LaPour was a multi-sport star in high school and a standout starting pitcher during his time at TCU. He throws hard but has also dealt with elbow trouble, as is often the case with hard throwers. His clean delivery lends hope to the idea that he will be able to fill up the strike zone as a professional.

Twins' Ethan Wachsmann: Snagged in third round
The Twins selected Wachsmann with the No. 79 overall pick in the 2026 First-Year Player Draft.
Wachsmann is considered to be a tough sign away from Wake Forest. Wachsmann has some of the better raw pitch traits from the prep ranks in the draft, as the 6-foot-5 righty already has an overpowering fastball with an excellent slider.

Twins' Brett Renfrow: Tagged by Minnesota
The Twins selected Renfrow with the No. 74 overall pick in the 2026 First-Year Player Draft.
The 6-foot-3 righty has strong stuff, particularly his fastball and slider, but he struggles with his control at times, resulting in a 4.64 ERA and 1.32 WHIP across 15 starts last season for Virginia Tech. The repertoire is there, but Renfrow will need to better locate his fastball to take that next step forward as a prospect.

Twins' Carson Tinney: Goes to Twins
The Twins selected Tinney with the No. 43 overall pick in the 2026 First-Year Player Draft.
The 6-foot-4, 240-pound catcher offers a ton of power but otherwise has some questions regarding his hit tool, and he posted a 40 percent strikeout rate in the Cape Cod League. The swing-and-miss in Tinney's stroke is a bit of a red flag, but his power upside is immense at a position where offense is often at a premium.

Twins' Vahn Lackey: Goes in top three
The Twins selected Lackey with the third overall pick in the 2026 First-Year Player Draft.
Lackey's junior season for Georgia Tech is doing a lot of the lifting in his profile, as he was lightly recruited coming out of high school, struggled as a freshman (60 wRC+) and hit just six homers with a .153 ISO in his solid sophomore campaign that put him on the map. This spring, however, the 6-foot-2 backstop slashed .397/.519/.772 with 20 home runs, 15 steals, a 17.7 percent walk rate and a 13.4 percent strikeout rate. His numbers are propped up by a .406 BABIP and the fact this was his third tour of the ACC. While not a plus defender, Lackey has a plus arm and is an agile mover behind the dish, with few questions about whether he'll stick there. He had an OPS under .650 in the Northwoods League in 2024 and a .314 OPS in 26 plate appearances in the Cape Cod League in 2025, so his 2026 season for the Yellow Jackets certainly looks like the outlier. Still, he's always made consistent contact, even when the production has been middling. Lackey passes the eye test with flying colors, and the upside is obvious, but his appeal in dynasty will vary depending on how many catchers are started in your league and the catching depth on your roster.

Twins' Jack Anderson: Claimed by Twins
The Twins claimed Anderson off waivers from the Red Sox on Saturday and optioned him to Triple-A St. Paul.
Boston designated Anderson for assignment Monday, but he'll end up back on a new organization's 40-man roster after being picked up by Minnesota. The 26-year-old righty has given up three runs in eight major-league innings this season but owns a 4.81 ERA and 1.38 WHIP over 58 frames in the minors.

Twins' Ryan Kreidler: On bench Saturday
Kreidler isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Angels.
After going 2-for-24 (.083) with nine strikeouts to begin the month of July, Kreidler will retreat to the bench for a third consecutive game while Tristan Gray starts at shortstop and bats eighth.

Twins' Ryan Jeffers: Sitting Saturday
Jeffers isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Angels.
After going 1-for-4 with a double and a walk during his return from the injured list Friday, Jeffers will take a seat Saturday as he eases his way back into major-league action. Victor Caratini will start behind the plate and bat sixth.
