Mize is dealing with groin tightness and a wrist injury following his early departure from Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Angels, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.

Mize left the game in the fourth inning after being struck in the left hand/wrist by a ground ball off the bat of Jo Adell, and he is also dealing with an apparent groin issue. The 29-year-old is expected to undergo additional testing on the groin, but Mize described his removal from Sunday's contest as precautionary. The right-handed pitcher is tentatively set to toe the rubber next at home against the Royals on Friday, and it's unclear if he's in danger of missing that outing.

Ray allowed three runs (one earned) on seven hits and two walks while striking out six over four-plus innings in a no-decision versus the Mariners on Sunday.

Ray was inefficient, exiting the game at 86 pitches (53 strikes). He had walked a total of 14 batters over 27 innings across his previous four starts, and he's gone six outings without allowing more than three runs. For the season, the southpaw is at a 3.33 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 96:54 K:BB through 110.2 innings over 20 games (19 starts). He's projected to make his next start at home in a favorable matchup versus the Angels.

Young (8-2) earned the win against the Astros on Sunday, allowing one run on five hits and one walk with seven strikeouts over seven innings.

Young allowed a run in the third frame before cruising to his second straight seven-inning quality start, throwing 62 of 95 pitches for strikes with 10 whiffs. It continued a steady campaign for the 27-year-old, who's yielded three earned runs or fewer in 14 of 16 outings this season. He'll carry a 3.25 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 74:32 K:BB across 91.1 innings into a home matchup with Atlanta next weekend.

Brown (1-1) took the loss against the Orioles on Sunday, allowing four runs on three hits and six walks with four strikeouts over 4.2 innings.

Brown allowed runs in the third and fifth frames and struggled overall, throwing just 45 of 92 pitches for strikes while issuing a season-high six walks and hitting two batters. The 27-year-old has posted a 7.98 ERA while handing out 15 free passes compared to 13 hits through three July outings. He owns a 4.05 ERA, 1.45 WHIP and 43:28 K:BB across 40 innings this season and will try to get back on track in a road matchup with the White Sox next weekend.

Gilbert (8-6) allowed three runs on four hits and a walk while striking out 10 over six innings to earn the win over the Giants on Sunday.

Gilbert has gone at least six innings in seven consecutive starts, allowing 14 runs over 46.1 innings with a 52:8 K:BB in that span. The right-hander allowed an early home run to Bryce Eldridge in the first inning and another run before the frame was over, but Gilbert was able to settle in. For the season, he now has a 3.38 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and 129:25 K:BB through 120 innings over 20 starts. Gilbert's next outing is projected to be on the road versus the Rangers.

McLean (7-6) earned the win Sunday against the Phillies, allowing no runs on two hits and two walks in six innings. He struck out 10.

McLean was at his best Sunday, dominating the Philadelphia bats while matching a season high in strikeouts. The right-hander has surrendered just a pair of earned runs over his past four starts, spinning six innings while yielding no earned runs three times during that span. McLean has improved his season ERA to 3.34 and his WHIP to 1.09 while posting an excellent 135:41 K:BB over 113.1 frames, but a tough assignment against the Dodgers in his next scheduled outing poses a significant risk to his recent string of success.

Gray (12-1) earned the win Sunday against the Rays, allowing one run on five hits and four walks in six innings. He struck out five.

Despite issuing a season-high four walks, Gray's winning ways rolled on Sunday. The veteran right-hander extended his streak of quality starts to nine, giving up one run or zero on seven occasions during that period. Gray has a career-best 2.48 ERA to go with a 1.12 WHIP, 90:28 K:BB and an American League-high 12 wins over 101.2 innings in 2026. His next appearance is slated to come at home against the division-rival Blue Jays.

McClanahan (8-6) took the loss Sunday against the Red Sox, allowing six runs (four earned) on five hits and three walks in five innings. He struck out three.

Two runs went unearned in the third inning, when Jahmai Jones first scored on a passed ball by Hunter Feduccia, and then Wilyer Abreu came across for another run on a throwing error by Junior Caminero. The three punchouts tied a season low for McClanahan, who also matched a season worst in runs allowed in an outing to forget all around. The southpaw is set to carry a 3.07 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 85:31 K:BB over 91 innings into a favorable home matchup against Cleveland.

Schlittler (9-6) took the loss in Game 1 of Sunday's doubleheader, allowing three runs on six hits, no walks and a hit batsman over 4.1 innings against the Dodgers. He struck out eight.

Schlittler generated a game-high 20 whiffs and recorded eight strikeouts, but the Dodgers were able to string together hits and chase the right-hander after 98 pitches (69 strikes) before he could complete five frames. After uncharacteristically issuing four walks in his last start July 11 against the Nationals before the All-Star break, the 25-year-old didn't hand out a free pass Sunday, marking the ninth time he has done so in 2026. Schlittler will take a stellar 2.20 ERA, 0.96 WHIP and 145:25 K:BB across 123 innings (21 starts) into his next outing, which is tentatively scheduled for Friday against the Phillies.

Yamamoto (10-6) earned the win in Game 1 of Sunday's doubleheader, allowing two runs on four hits and no walks over nine innings against the Yankees. He struck out seven.

Yamamoto was stellar, throwing the first regular-season complete game of his MLB career on 102 pitches (69 strikes). It came at an opportune time with the Dodgers set for a bullpen game in the second half of Sunday's doubleheader. While he entered the All-Star break on a sour note by giving up a season-high six runs July 11 against the Diamondbacks, the right-hander has been remarkably consistent and effective, allowing two or fewer earned runs in 12 of 18 starts this season. Yamamoto will take a 2.78 ERA, 0.88 WHIP and 113:25 K:BB across 119.2 innings into his next outing, which is lined up for next weekend against the Mets.
