Pallante (12-9) allowed six runs on 10 hits and a walk while striking out four over five innings to take the loss versus the Brewers on Sunday.

Pallante didn't catch much of a break as the Brewers had most of their top hitters active for the regular-season finale. September saw Pallante produce more mixed results, allowing 17 runs (15 earned) over 26 innings across five starts. He ends the campaign at a 3.83 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and 110:50 K:BB through 162 innings over 29 starts. Pallante has made himself a stable but unexciting option at the back end of the Cardinals' rotation over the last few years.

Drohan struck out two over 1.2 perfect innings to earn the save in Sunday's 6-4 win over the Cardinals.

Chad Patrick ran into trouble in the eighth inning, prompting Drohan to come into the game. Drohan did his job, throwing 13 of 21 pitches for strikes in this relief appearance, which could be a preview of his usage during the postseason. With his background as a starter, he'll likely be tasked with multi-inning assignments if he works out of the bullpen in October. Drohan finished the regular season at a 4.19 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 125:44 K:BB across 124.2 innings over 33 games (19 starts). He also collected two saves and three holds.

Misiorowski (16-5) allowed two hits and two walks while striking out five over 5.1 scoreless innings to earn the win over the Cardinals on Sunday.

Misiorowski threw 68 pitches (44 strikes) in this outing, getting a standing ovation after striking out Jordan Walker in the sixth inning. Misiorowski had 10 scoreless outings this season and 18 starts of no more than one run allowed. He led all qualified starters with a 1.80 ERA and 252 strikeouts while maintaining a 0.80 WHIP over 174.2 innings across 30 starts. The superstar right-hander will next take the mound during the NLDS.

Messick allowed a run on six hits and a walk while striking out two over three innings in a no-decision versus the Royals on Sunday.

Messick's start was a shorter one, as expected, since the Guardians had nothing to play for in the regular-season finale. This outing will function to keep him on a normal schedule heading into the playoffs, where he's expected to get a start in the ALDS. Messick allowed no more than three runs in any of his last 15 starts of the season, providing excellent consistency. He ends the regular season with a 12-9 record, 2.56 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 193:49 K:BB over 186.1 innings through 32 starts.

Martinez (15-6) took the loss Sunday against the Phillies, allowing four runs on seven hits and a walk across 2.2 innings. He struck out one.

Martinez gave up a run in the first inning on a Bryson Stott two-out double before the Phillies put up a three spot in the second. The right-hander would ultimately depart in the third, after throwing 50 pitches. Coming into Sunday, Martinez had held opponents to three runs or fewer in each of his previous six outings, posting a 2.52 ERA across 35.2 innings in that span. Martinez will finish the regular season with a 3.10 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 109 strikeouts across 31 starts (180 innings).

Wheeler (14-5) earned the win Sunday over Tampa Bay, allowing a run on five hits and no walks over six innings. He struck out five.

It was another strong outing for Wheeler, who held the Rays to just one run on Jonny DeLuca's fifth-inning homer, as the Phillies cruised to a 7-3 victory, clinching the final NL wild card spot. Over his last six starts, Wheeler gave up just seven runs while striking out 45 across 37.2 innings. He'll finish the regular season with a 3.00 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 193:47 K:BB over 28 starts (162 innings).

Manaea (6-8) took the loss Sunday against the Nationals, allowing five runs on seven hits and a walk across six innings. He struck out three.

It was a tough way to end the year for Manaea, who'd given up just four earned runs across 11.1 innings while striking out 11 in his previous two outings. The veteran left-hander will finish with a 4.78 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 144:44 K:BB across 150.2 innings this season. Manaea is under contract with the Mets again in 2027, though it remains to be seen whether or not he'll remain in the starting rotation.

Yankees manager Aaron Boone told reporters Sunday that he expects to have Rodon pitch out of the bullpen for the American League Wild Card series against the Red Sox, Jorge Castillo of ESPN.com reports.

The Yankees already announced their rotation for the Wild Card series, with Cam Schlittler taking the mound for Game 1 on Tuesday, followed by Max Fried and Gerrit Cole. Rodon will thus be deployed out of the bullpen, though he could return if the Yankees make a deep run in the postseason. He posted a 7-3 record across 16 starts this season with a 2.67 ERA and 1.06 WHIP across 84.1 innings.

Sunday's regular-season finale between the Yankees and Orioles has been canceled due to inclement weather and will not be rescheduled.

Rodriguez was slated to be recalled from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre to pitch in Sunday's regular-season finale, but the game has been rained out and will not be made up at a future date. Rodriguez made his major-league debut April 29 and started in six games for the Yankees, going 0-3 with a 5.40 ERA and 1.58 WHIP across 26.2 innings.

Baz will not start in Sunday's regular-season finale against the Yankees due to inclement weather, and the game will not be rescheduled.

Sunday's game didn't carry much meaning, given that the Yankees are locked in as the No. 4 seed in the American League playoffs and the Orioles are eliminated from postseason contention. Baz will end the 2026 regular season with a 6-15 record across 31 starts and a 4.11 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and 154:63 K:BB over a career-high 179.2 innings.
