Emerson Hancock SP | SEA
Mariners' Emerson Hancock: Set to start Wednesday
Hancock (hand) is slated to start Wednesday's game against the Reds, Tim Booth of The Seattle Times reports.
Hancock exited his final start before the All-Star break Sunday after getting hit on the hand by a comebacker. X-rays came back negative after the game, and now that he's had extra time to recover thanks to the intermission and a move to the back of the rotation, he'll be able to make his next start without having to spend time on the IL. The 27-year-old righty currently boasts a 3.17 ERA and 1.01 WHIP for the season and has conceded just one run in his last 14.1 innings.

Orioles' Kyle Bradish: Lands five-year extension with O's
Bradish agreed to terms on a five-year, $90 million contract extension with the Orioles on Saturday.

The 29-year-old righty missed significant time in 2024 and '25 due to Tommy John surgery but has been fully healthy this year and sports a 3.61 ERA and 1.35 WHIP alongside a 106:50 K:BB through 107.1 innings.

Bailey Ober SP | MIN
Twins' Bailey Ober: Fans seven in win
Ober (7-3) earned the win Friday against the Cubs, allowing two earned runs on five hits and two walks while striking out seven batters across 5.1 innings.
Ober put the Twins in an early hole by allowing the first three batters he faced to reach base, capped off by a Michael Busch single that drove in Pete Crow-Armstrong. However, the Twins' offense picked Ober up with a four-run third inning, and he wouldn't get charged with another earned run until the sixth, when Seiya Suzuki doubled off him and later scored on a wild pitch from reliever Tommy Nance. Ober has now given up just three runs while posting a 12:3 K:BB in 10.1 innings since returning from the injured list July 9, giving him some positive momentum heading into his start next week in Cleveland.
