Bailey is not in the Guardians' starting lineup against the Tigers on Saturday, Tim Stebbins of MLB.com reports.

Bailey will be on the bench for Saturday's game while Austin Hedges starts behind home plate and bats eighth, forming a battery with southpaw Parker Messick. Bailey has gone 14-for-58 (.241) with one steal, three home runs and 12 RBI since Aug. 1.

The Blue Jays claimed Ross off waivers from the Mets on Saturday and optioned him to Triple-A Buffalo.

Ross will join the Blue Jays organization after being designated for assignment by the Mets on Thursday. He is slashing .184/.333/.418 with three steals, 11 home runs and 29 RBI across 245 plate appearances in the minors this season, with the vast majority of his playing time taking place in Triple-A.

Diaz went 1-for-3 with a grand slam and a sacrifice fly during Friday's 7-6 loss to Tampa Bay.

Diaz extended his modest hitting streak to four games after launching his first grand slam of the campaign. The catcher also recorded a season-high five RBI, shattering his previous high of two, which he's accomplished multiple times. Over his last seven games, the 35-year-old is slashing .316/.364/.632 with one homer and seven RBI over 21 plate appearances.

Higashioka (forearm) served as the designated hitter and went 1-for-5 for Triple-A Round Rock on Friday.

Higashioka began a rehab assignment with the Express, and per Kennedi Landry of MLB.com, the Rangers plan to have him hit only for the time being. When/if he returns to the team, Higashioka will serve as a bench bat.

Raleigh went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run, a double, a walk and three total runs scored in Friday's 7-6 loss to the Athletics.

Raleigh has hit safely in six straight games and in 11 of his last 13 contests. He's gone 15-for-46 (.326) with eight homers in that longer span, finally giving fantasy managers a glimpse of his 2025 form. Overall, Raleigh is still batting just .176 with a .662 OPS, 21 homers, 58 RBI, 39 runs scored, 11 doubles and two stolen bases over 107 contests this year.

Dingler is not in the lineup for the second game of Friday's doubleheader against the Guardians.

Dingler will take a seat after going 1-for-4 in the opener of the twin bill. Eduardo Valencia will catch and bat cleanup for Detroit in the nightcap.

Higashioka (forearm) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Round Rock on Friday, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Higashioka has been out since late July with a right flexor strain. He is not expected to be available to catch in the final weeks of the regular season, but Higashioka could be available as a bench bat against left-handed pitching.

The White Sox optioned Romo to Triple-A Charlotte on Friday.

He's losing his spot on the active roster in order to make space for the return of Kyle Teel (ankle). Romo had been sharing the catcher job lately with Jake Rogers, who will stick around as Teel's backup.

The White Sox activated Teel (ankle) from the 10-day injured list Friday.

Teel landed on the IL just after the All-Star break with a left high-ankle sprain, but he's been deemed fit to return after going 7-for-22 with one home run and one double in six rehab contests. The young catcher has been limited to only 19 games in the big leagues this season due to injury, slashing .190/.271/.317 in those tilts. Teel will serve as the primary catcher for the White Sox down the stretch, though the left-handed hitter could sit in favor of Jake Rogers versus lefties.

Jensen went 3-for-4 with a home run, a double, a triple, three RBI and three total runs scored in Thursday's 7-3 win over the Marlins.

Jensen collected a trio of hits, driving in runs with an RBI triple in the third inning and a two-run homer in the fifth frame. The young catcher has been on fire at the plate, batting .321 with six homers, 11 RBI, 12 runs and a stolen base over his past 15 games. Overall, he's slashing .231/.316/.442 with 22 homers, 67 RBI, 66 runs and two stolen bases in 131 contests.
