Guerrero is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Reds.

On the heels of an AL pennant run last fall, Guerrero disappointed in a major way in 2026, with his OPS falling 160 points to .688. Recent comments about his performance and contract drew the ire from the Toronto fanbase, but he quickly walked those comments back. Charles McAdoo will draw the start at first base in the season finale.

Johnson will serve as the Athletics' opening pitcher for Sunday's game against the Astros, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.

Sunday is Brady Basso's turn in the rotation, so the Athletics may look to use him in bulk relief once Johnson exits the contest. Johnson has worked exclusively as a reliever this season between stops in the big leagues with the Phillies and Athletics, maxing out at 2.2 innings and 50 pitches over his 27 appearances.

Lambert will start Sunday's game against the Athletics in Sacramento, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

Lambert was believed to have made his final appearance of the regular season during his 2.2-inning start in Thursday's series opener, but since the Astros have yet to punch their ticket to the postseason, he'll end up getting the ball on two days' rest in Game 162. The Astros will clinch the AL West title with a win or a Rangers loss, so the team is expected to make all of its top pitchers available for Sunday's contest. Given that he's pitching on short rest, Lambert is unlikely to work deep enough into the game to qualify for a win.

White went 2-for-3 with an RBI in Saturday's 13-2 loss to Houston.

White tallied a pair of hits, including an RBI single in the seventh inning with the contest already well out of hand. The rookie has logged 12 multi-hit games, with three such efforts coming in September. In 55 games, White is slashing .257/.275/.332 with three homers, 10 RBI and 19 runs while seeing action at both first base and third base.

Caglianone went 2-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI and two runs scored in Saturday's 11-5 loss to the Guardians.

Caglianone laced a pair of doubles, one in the first inning and another in the eighth frame, each of which brought in a run. The 23-year-old is closing the season strong, going 12-for-24 (.500) with five RBI, six runs and a stolen base over his past six contests. On the year, Caglianone is hitting .287/.339/.492 with 23 homers, 75 RBI, 72 runs and seven stolen bases in 142 games.

Palacios went 2-for-4 with a double, a walk and four RBI in Saturday's 12-1 win over the Phillies.

Palacios drove in runs in three separate trips to the plate, highlighted by a two-run single in the sixth inning. The 29-year-old has been swinging a hot bat in September, hitting .306 with five homers and 18 RBI while also swiping six bags. With one game left in the regular season, he's slashing .238/.333/.378 with 10 home runs, 57 RBI, 51 runs scored and 17 steals across a career-high 395 plate appearances.

Mesa went 4-for-5 with two doubles, two RBI and three runs scored in Saturday's 12-1 win over the Phillies.

Mesa drove in a run on a single in the fifth inning before lacing an RBI double in the sixth. It was the 25-year-old's first career four-hit performance, and he's hitting .333 with 10 extra-base hits, 11 RBI and 17 runs scored over 22 September games. Overall, he's slashing .260/.328/.502 with 14 homers, 33 RBI, 37 runs scored and nine steals across his first 258 major-league plate appearances.

Caminero went 2-for-3 with a home run, a walk, two RBI and three runs scored in Saturday's 12-1 win over the Phillies.

Caminero opened the scoring with a two-run blast off Aaron Nola in the first inning, reaching 100 RBI for the second straight campaign. According to Adam Berry of MLB.com, the young third baseman became just the ninth player in history to have multiple 40-homer, 100-RBI seasons within his first four years. Overall, he's slashing .277/.361/.526 with 42 long balls, 101 RBI, 100 runs scored and three steals across 700 plate appearances with one regular-season game left to play.

Arroyo went 3-for-5 with a run scored in Saturday's 8-4 win over the Angels.

This is Arroyo's second multi-hit effort in a row and his fourth overall. The 21-year-old is now batting .353 over 14 games in the majors, adding one home run, two stolen bases, four RBI and five runs scored. Arroyo's plate discipline is already evident -- he has a 5:6 BB:K, and that should help him as he tries to make a full-time adjustment to the majors moving forward.

Naylor went 0-for-4 with a walk, one RBI and a stolen base in Saturday's 8-4 win over the Angels.

Naylor has reached the 30-steal mark for the second year in a row. That's a rare accomplishment for a first baseman -- he's the first to post 30 steals in consecutive years since George Sisler did in three straight years from 1920-1922. Prior to Naylor's last two years, the last first baseman to have 30 steals in a campaign was Paul Goldschmidt in 2016. While the work on the basepaths has been impressive, Naylor has struggled in other areas, batting .261 with a .667 OPS, 10 home runs, 56 RBI, 48 runs scored and 22 doubles over 151 contests. That OPS is his lowest in a full-length campaign; only his .621 mark in the abbreviated 2020 campaign is worse in his eight seasons.
