Ravens' Ja'Kobi Lane: Continues generating buzz at camp
Lane has been the buzz of Ravens training camp over the first couple weeks, Ryan Mink of the team's official site reports.
According to Mink, Lane is making highlight-reel catches on what feels like a daily basis, and even Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com said Saturday that in his 27 years of covering the team, Lane has had the best rookie training camp he's ever seen. While Lane is doing it all on the practice field, he'll need to replicate it during preseason action if he's going to keep surging for a role in three-wide sets alongside Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman. Third-round rookie Lane's top competition for snaps appears to be Devontez Walker and fourth-rounder Elijah Sarratt.

Ravens' Ethan Pocic: Leaves practice with ankle issue
Pocic (ankle) exited Sunday's practice early, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
Pocic limped off the field during Sunday's session after suffering an injury to his left ankle. The center had surgery for his left Achilles in December, so any extra strain allocated to the leg may be problematic. The team will likely be very careful with Lamar Jackson's new starting center, and it is unclear how long it will hold him out of practice.

Jones was placed on the active/PUP list in late July due to a pectoral injury suffered during the offseason. The Ravens signed Johnson to a contract Saturday, Clifton Brown of the team's official site reports.
Johnson spent time on the Packers' practice squad last year and appeared in two regular-season games, logging 10 tackles (three solo) and one pass defense. He'll have the opportunity to practice with the Ravens in training camp, and a strong audition could land him a spot on the team's 53-man roster or practice squad for the start of the 2026 season.

Ravens' Zay Flowers: Day-to-day with quad bruise
Head coach Jesse Minter said Saturday that Flowers is considered day-to-day due to a quad contusion that he sustained during training camp practice, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
Flowers was looked at by trainers after his left leg collided with Jaylinn Hawkins during 7-on-7 drills. Flowers didn't practice for the rest of the day, but the positive news is that he has avoided a serious injury and should be back at practice over the coming week. His absence will allow veteran Chris Moore and rookies Ja'Kobi Lane and Elijah Sarratt to work more with the first-team offense alongside Rashod Bateman and Devontez Walker.

Ravens' Zay Flowers: Exits practice with leg injury
Flowers left Saturday's training camp practice early due to a left leg injury, Sam Cohn of The Baltimore Sun reports.
Flowers sustained the injury when he collided with safety Jaylinn Hawkins during 7-on-7 drills. Flowers was able to limp off the field under his own power but did not participate in the rest of Saturday's practice, and his status over the next few days will be closely monitored ahead of the Ravens' preseason opener against the Eagles on Saturday, Aug. 15. Ravens' Zay Flowers: Signs four-year extension
Flowers is signing a four-year extension with Baltimore for up to $140 million, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Initial reports put the "guarantee" at $108 million, though some of that may not be guaranteed at signing. Either way, Flowers will land safely in WR1 territory from a contract standpoint, ranking top 10 at the position for both guaranteed money and average annual value. Flowers expressed excitement earlier this offseason when discussing new Ravens offensive coordinator Declan Doyle, who spent last year in Chicago as a non-playcalling coordinator under Ben Johnson.
