Cavaliers' Craig Porter: Coming off bench for Game 1
Porter is not in the Cavaliers' starting lineup for Game 1 against the Raptors on Saturday.
Porter started the Cavaliers' regular-season finale against the Wizards this past Sunday, when he played 28 minutes and finished with seven points, seven rebounds, four assists and one block in a 130-117 win. He'll revert to a bench role for Game 1 while the Cavaliers roll with a starting five of Donovan Mitchell, James Harden, Evan Mobley, Jarrett Allen and Dean Wade.

Wizards' Julian Reese: Efficient 14 points in finale
Reese finished Sunday's 130-117 loss to the Cavaliers with 14 points (5-7 FG, 4-4 FT), three rebounds and three steals across 18 minutes.
Reese inked a two-year, two-way contract with the Wizards in February, and he certainly impressed during his brief time with Washington. He averaged 11.8 points, 10.5 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.4 steals in 30.9 minutes per tilt over 13 games this season. Even so, Reese could have a harder time finding steady playing time on a healthier Washington team in 2026-27.

Wizards' Jaden Hardy: Quiet in regular-season finale
Hardy closed Sunday's 130-117 loss to the Cavaliers with six points (2-6 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 0-2 FT), one rebound and three assists in 16 minutes.
Hardy opened the season without a stable role with Dallas, but his minutes picked up a bit with Washington. The combo guard averaged 12.6 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 20.4 minutes per tilt over 23 games for the Wizards. Hardy is under contract for the 2026-27 campaign.

Wizards' Leaky Black: Closes out season on low note
Black notched zero points (0-3 FG, 0-2 3Pt), one rebound, one assist and one steal over nine minutes during Sunday's 130-117 loss to the Cavaliers.
After beginning the season with the G League's Capital City Go-Go, Black signed a two-year, two-way contract with the Wizards ahead of the All-Star break. The 26-year-old swingman averaged 7.1 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.2 steals in 28.9 minutes per tilt across 15 games this season, and he'll be a candidate to open next season with the G League.

Wizards' Anthony Gill: Scores 14 points in loss
Gill logged 14 points (6-7 FG, 2-3 3Pt), six rebounds and one steal over 30 minutes during Sunday's 130-117 loss to the Cavaliers.
After barely seeing the floor to open the season, Gill later became a key role player for the Wizards once the team started to dial back its regulars. Over his last 27 games of the campaign, Gill emerged as a deep-league fantasy asset with averages of 9.4 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 0.7 steals, 0.6 blocks and 0.5 three-pointers in 26.9 minutes per contest.

Wizards' Justin Champagnie: Plays well in finale
Champagnie was ejected from Sunday's 130-117 loss to the Cavaliers after totaling 13 points (5-14 FG, 3-10 3Pt), six rebounds, three assists and three steals in 32 minutes.
Champagnie was a very useful role player for the Wizards in 2025-26. He ended up with a total of 69 appearances, posting averages of 8.7 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.8 three-pointers in 20.0 minutes per contest. He's under contract with the Wizards for an additional two seasons.

Wizards' Jamir Watkins: Scores career-high 24 points
Watkins chipped in 24 points (7-13 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 5-6 FT), four rebounds, three assists and one block in 34 minutes during Sunday's 130-117 loss to Cleveland.
Watkins ended his rookie season with a bang, posting a career-high 24 points. With most of the roster shut down by injuries, Watkins played a key role down the stretch. Over his last seven games, he stood out with 13.4 points, 5.4 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 0.9 steals and 1.9 three-pointers in 28.1 minutes per contest.

Wizards' Will Riley: Struggles in season finale
Riley recorded six points (2-11 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds and four assists across 34 minutes during Sunday's 130-117 loss to the Cavaliers.
Riley struggled from the floor Sunday, closing his season with a disappointing performance. Much like many of his teammates, Riley was able to shift into a sizeable role down the stretch, with Washington packing up shop early in the season. In 17 appearances over the past month, Riley saw 32.4 minutes per game, during which he put up 16.6 points, 1.1 steals and 1.6 three-pointers.

Wizards' Bub Carrington: Flirts with double-double
Carrington ended Sunday's 130-117 loss to the Cavaliers with 20 points (7-18 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 2-3 FT), two rebounds, nine assists, one block and two steals across 38 minutes.
Carrington fell just one assist short of what would have been his first double-double of the season. While it was another disappointing season for Washington, Carrington at least managed to compile some intriguing performances down the stretch. In eight games over the past two weeks, he averaged 14.8 points, 5.8 assists and 3.0 three-pointers in 28.9 minutes per game.

Wizards' Sharife Cooper: Drops 20 points in finale
Cooper had 20 points (8-11 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds and six assists across 28 minutes during Sunday's 130-117 loss to the Cavaliers.
Cooper ended his season with a strong offensive performance, scoring at least 20 points for just the third time in his career. With Washington opting to rest players for the final two months of the season, Cooper was able to carve out a regular spot in the rotation down the stretch. With that said, he didn't offer a lot outside of some sporadic performances, averaging 9.1 points and 3.5 assists in 29 games during that span.
