Yankees' Jasson Dominguez: Out eight weeks at Triple-A
Yankees manager Aaron Boone said Thursday that Dominguez will be out for up to eight weeks at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre due to a "significant" left oblique strain, Gary Phillips of the New York Daily News reports.
Boone labeled Dominguez's oblique strain as "moderate" Wednesday, but the injury now appears to be more severe than the Yankees initially believed. The 21-year-old outfielder already missed the first two-plus months of the Triple-A season while recovering from Tommy John surgery, and an eight-week return timeline will keep him out of action until at least mid-August.

Yankees' Jasson Dominguez: Nursing moderate oblique strain
Yankees manager Aaron Boone said Wednesday that Dominguez is dealing with a moderate left oblique strain, Chris Kirschner of The Athletic reports.
Dominguez was injured on a check swing Saturday while playing for Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. The Yankees haven't yet established a timeline for Dominguez's return to game action, but it wouldn't be a surprise if a moderate oblique strain resulted in at least a month-long absence. Dominguez began the season on the Yankees' 60-day injured list as he continued his recovery from Tommy John surgery. He's hit .389/.405/.639 with two home runs in nine games during his time with Scranton/Wilkes-Barre this season.

Dominguez suffered the injury on a check swing over the weekend while playing at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. The severity of the strain isn't known yet, but even a low-grade strain will likely cost the young outfielder multiple weeks of action. Dominguez has hit .389/.405/.639 with two home runs in nine games during his time with Scranton/Wilkes-Barre this season.

Yankees' Jasson Dominguez: Placed on IL at Triple-A
Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre placed Dominguez on its 7-day injured list Sunday with what Yankees manager Aaron Boone termed as a left side injury, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.
The 21-year-old was formally activated from the Yankees' 60-day injured list earlier this week after a long recovery from Tommy John surgery and was subsequently optioned down to Triple-A. Over nine games at Triple-A thus far, Dominguez hasn't taken long to settle into a groove at the plate, as he was slashing .389/.405/.639 with five extra-base hits and two stolen bases prior to being deactivated. The extent of Dominguez's side injury isn't fully known yet, with Boone noting that the young outfielder is set to undergo further testing.
