Terrion Arnold DET CB
Terrion Arnold: Let go by Detroit
19h agoArnold (shoulder) was cut by the Lions on Monday.
The news comes shortly after an Associated Press report that a Florida judge has set a $1 million bail in connection to Arnold's ongoing felony trial for charges of armed robbery and kidnapping. Arnold is unlikely to resume his NFL career until his legal proceedings conclude.

Omar Cooper Jr. NYJ WR
Jets' Omar Cooper: Solidifying spot in three-wide sets
1d agoCooper was the Jets' most impressive rookie in spring practices and looks to have solidified his spot in three-receiver sets, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
The Jets traded up into the first round to draft Cooper 30th overall. The versatile rookie out of Indiana played both on the outside and in the slot in college, which should help Cooper get on the field consistently alongside Garrett Wilson and Adonai Mitchell. Per Geoffrey A. Knox of USA Today Jets Wire, Mitchell and slot receiver option Isaiah Williams were two of the Jets' top performers during the offseason program, so Cooper will need to continue building on his strong spring to secure playing time. That being said, Cimini expects Cooper's physical playing style to help the rookie shine even more once the pads come on in training camp.

Kenyon Sadiq NYJ TE
Jets' Kenyon Sadiq: Expected to be ready for camp
1d agoSadiq (abdomen) is expected to be ready for training camp, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
Sadiq missed OTAs and minicamp due to hernia surgery, which stemmed from a college injury that the Jets said they were aware of when they drafted Sadiq with the 16th overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. Sadiq will have to play catch-up once healthy, but offensive coordinator Frank Reich has a plan for getting the athletic tight end up to speed. Reich views Sadiq as a mismatch for defenders due to the rookie's mix of speed (4.39-second 40-yard dash) and size (6-foot-3, 241 pounds).

Carnell Tate TEN WR
Titans' Carnell Tate: Looked polished at OTAs
1d agoTate impressed with his route running and catching ability at OTAs, and teammate Alontae Taylor described the rookie fourth overall pick as "polished," Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
Tate has looked NFL-ready early on, suggesting the rookie wide receiver out of Ohio State won't face a steep learning curve as he adjusts to playing at the professional level. He could quickly emerge as the top receiving option for the Titans, who didn't have a player exceed 560 receiving yards during the 2025 regular season. Tate is building chemistry with 2025 first overall pick Cam Ward, who threw for 3,169 yards in a rocky rookie season.

Jack Bech LV WR
Raiders' Jack Bech: Could earn big role in Year 2
1d agoBech performed well during OTAs and could be a key part of Vegas' receiving corps under new head coach Klint Kubiak, Michael Canelo of SI.com reports.
Bech had just 20 catches for 224 yards across 16 regular-season games as a rookie, but the 2025 second-round pick could get more opportunities in his second season as part of an underwhelming Raiders wide receiver room that also includes Tre Tucker, Jalen Nailor, Dont'e Thornton and Malik Benson. Canelo's colleague Jared Feinberg describes Bech as a savvy route runner, and Bech's ability to get open with crisp routes should be rewarded more than it was in his rookie year if the Raiders get better quarterback play out of newcomers Fernando Mendoza and Kirk Cousins.

Baker Mayfield TB QB
Buccaneers' Baker Mayfield: Looking for middle ground on deal
1d agoMayfield reiterated Saturday to Steve McGehee of KWTV that he wants to remain in Tampa Bay on an extension, but the quarterback added that there is still work to be done to reach a middle ground in negotiations.
"I would love to be there," Mayfield said of Tampa Bay. "I think both sides want to get it done. Now it's a matter of finding that middle ground and what makes both sides happy." He previously said that he wants a new deal before training camp opens July 27. The two sides reportedly weren't close to a deal earlier in June, and Mayfield didn't provide an update on the progress, though he made it clear that he hopes to remain with the Buccaneers long-term.

Victor Bericoto SF RF
Giants' Victor Bericoto: Doubles in defeat
3m agoBericoto went 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored in Monday's 5-4 loss to the Diamondbacks.
Bericoto singled in the second inning and doubled in the fifth before coming around to score San Francisco's first run. The 24-year-old outfielder has logged at least one hit in each of his last five appearances, batting .412 with three RBI, three runs scored and two home runs in 18 plate appearances during that stretch. Overall, he's slashing .286/.306/.571 with four runs scored, four RBI and three long balls across 36 plate appearances this season.
-
Luis Arraez SF 2B
Giants' Luis Arraez: Multi-hit effort in loss
4m agoArraez went 2-for-4 with a double in Monday's 5-4 loss to the Diamondbacks.
Arraez singled in the third inning and hit a double in the eighth, marking his second straight game with multiple hits. The veteran infielder has recorded at least one hit in all but one of his last 10 appearances, batting .378 with seven runs scored, five RBI and one home run in 43 plate appearances during that span. He's slashing .326/.362/.450 with 42 runs scored, 31 RBI, six stolen bases and three long balls across 349 plate appearances this season.
-
Taylor Trammell HOU CF
Astros' Taylor Trammell: Launches third homer
10m agoTrammell went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer in Monday's 5-4 loss to the Twins.
Trammell made things interesting in the ninth inning with his two-run, 412-foot blast off Travis Adams that cut Houston's deficit to 5-3. The homer is Trammell's third this season, all of which have come in his last six games. Trammell has seen his playing time tick up of late, as he's settled into the strong side of a platoon role with Jake Meyers.
-
Austin Slater TB RF
Rays' Austin Slater: Re-signs with Tampa Bay
16m agoThe Rays agreed to a minor-league contract with Slater on Monday, Ryan Bass of Rays.tv reports.
The veteran outfielder elected free agency after being designated for assignment by Tampa Bay in mid-June, but he'll rejoin the organization on another minor-league deal. Slater played in just seven games with the Rays and went 6-for-22 (.273 average) with two doubles and three steals. He also had stints with the Marlins and Mets early in the season, and he combined to post a .518 OPS in 21 contests between those two clubs.
-
Miguel Ullola HOU RP
Astros' Miguel Ullola: Impresses in debut
17m agoUllola pitched two scoreless innings in Monday's loss against the Twins, allowing two hits while striking out four.
It was an impressive major-league debut from the 24-year-old Ullola, who relied heavily on his fastball that averaged 95.2 MPH. After shifting to a relief role earlier this year, Ullola posted a 2.70 ERA with 16 strikeouts across 10 innings with Triple-A Sugar Land. Ullola should continue to work in lower-leverage spots for the time being, though his strikeout rate does offer some intrigue as a late-inning prospect.
-
Ryan Lambert NYM RP
Mets' Ryan Lambert: Back in action at Triple-A
21m agoLambert (undisclosed) has given up two runs (one earned) on three hits and one walk while striking out three batters over two innings in two appearances for Triple-A Syracuse since being reinstated from the 7-day injured list Thursday.
The right-handed reliever was shelved for just under a month due to an unspecified injury. Lambert owns a 6.00 ERA, 1.67 WHIP and 28:15 K:BB across 18 innings on the season with Syracuse.
-
LeBron James LAL SF
LeBron James: Will leave Lakers
6m agoJames announced that he will play in the 2026-27 season, but it will not be with the Lakers, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
James has informed the franchise that they can move on without him because he intends to play elsewhere. Retirement never seemed likely for James, as he continues to defy Father Time. Now that his intentions are public, it will be interesting to see which teams pursue him. Based on previous reports, it's likely that the Warriors will make a run at him.
-
Robert Williams III POR C
Trail Blazers' Robert Williams: To sign 3-year deal with Portland
27m agoWilliams will sign a three-year, $44 million contract with the Trail Blazers, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
Williams likely would've had a big market in free agency, so the Trail Blazers quickly moved to lock him up. He'll be penciled in as the backup center behind Donovan Clingan for 2026-27. During the 2025-26 regular season, Williams averaged 6.7 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 1.5 blocks in 17.1 minutes per contest.
-
Simone Fontecchio MIA SF
Heat's Simone Fontecchio: Returning to Heat
1h agoFontecchio will return to the Heat on a one-year deal, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
Miami will secure some additional shooting to spread the floor for Giannis Antetokounmpo. During 70 regular-season games in 2025-26, Fontecchio averaged 8.5 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.8 three-pointers in 16.7 minutes per contest.
-
Ariel Hukporti NY C
Ariel Hukporti: Reaches free agency
13h agoThe Knicks will not extend a qualifying offer to Hukporti, Vincent Goodwill of ESPN.com reports Monday.
Hukporti is set to enter unrestricted free agency after spending the first two years of his career with the Knicks. Over 54 regular-season appearances (five starts) in 2025-26, the big man averaged 2.2 points and 2.9 rebounds while shooting 56.3 percent from the field in 9.2 minutes per showing.
-
Jamir Watkins WAS SF
Wizards' Jamir Watkins: Extended qualifying offer
14h agoThe Wizards declined their $2.15 million team option on Watkins' contract but tendered him a qualifying offer that makes him a restricted free agent, Josh Robbins of The Athletic reports.
The Wizards will have the opportunity to match any offer Watkins receives on the open market, and Robbins noted that it's "highly likely" the 2025 second-round pick will remain with the club. The 6-foot-6 forward appeared in 50 regular-season games (seven starts) in 2025-26, averaging 7.4 points, 3.9 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.1 steals in 20.6 minutes per contest.
-
David Jones SA SF
Spurs' David Jones Garcia: Receives qualifying offer
15h agoThe Spurs tendered a two-way qualifying offer to Jones Garcia (ankle) on Monday, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports.
Jones Garcia appeared in only 11 regular-season games for the Spurs in 2025-26 before having his season cut short, averaging 2.9 points, 1.6 assists and 1.2 rebounds in 6.2 minutes per contest. The 24-year-old underwent surgery on his right ankle in February, and it's unclear whether he'll be available by training camp. He's a restricted free agent and can still seek a better deal elsewhere.
-
Jonathan Drouin STL LW
Jonathan Drouin: Lands on waivers
34m agoDrouin was placed on waivers by the Blues on Tuesday for the purpose of terminating his contract.
Drouin had one season remaining on the two-year, $8 million contract he signed with the Islanders last summer. The left-shot forward was traded by St. Louis in March in the deal that sent Brayden Schenn to the Isles, and it ended up being a tough all-around year for Drouin -- he put up just four goals and 24 points over 64 games between the two teams. The 31-year-old Drouin might have to settle for a prove-it contract when free agency opens Wednesday.
-
Samuel Ersson OTT G
Samuel Ersson: Doesn't receive qualifying offer
3h agoErsson was not given a qualifying offer by the Senators on Monday, Julian McKenzie of The Athletic reports.
While the decision will allow Ersson to test free agency Wednesday, according to McKenzie, the Senators are still working to re-sign the 26-year-old backstop after acquiring him from the Maple Leafs on June 26. If he does return to Ottawa, Ersson will likely battle for the No. 2 spot alongside Leevi Merilainen.
-
Ethan Samson TB D
Ethan Samson: Not presented with qualifying offer
13h agoSamson was not given a qualifying offer from the Lightning on Monday, which means he will become an unrestricted free agent, per PuckPedia.
Samson picked up five goals and 18 points over 40 games between AHL Lehigh Valley and Syracuse in 2025-26. The defenseman was a sixth-round pick by Philadelphia in 2021 and has never appeared in an NHL game.
-
Henry Thrun TOR D
Henry Thrun: Slated to hit open market
13h agoThrun will become an unrestricted free agent after not receiving a qualifying offer from Toronto on Monday, according to PuckPedia.
Thrun appeared in just four games with the Maple Leafs this past season. However, he helped AHL Toronto win a Calder Cup championship, producing two goals and nine points over 24 postseason outings. The left-shot blueliner also had five goals and 23 points over 55 regular-season games with the Marlies in 2025-26.
-
Jake Chiasson OTT RW
Jake Chiasson: Can sign with new club July 1
13h agoMontreal did not present a qualifying offer to Chiasson on Monday, meaning he will be an unrestricted free agent, per PuckPedia.
Chiasson played with AHL Belleville and ECHL Allen in 2025-26. He didn't appear in a game with AHL Laval after being dealt to Montreal from Ottawa in March. The 23-year-old has never suited up in an NHL game.
-
Akira Schmid LV G
Panthers' Akira Schmid: Acquired by Florida
14h agoSchmid was dealt from the Golden Knights to the Panthers on Monday in exchange for a 2028 third-round pick.
Considering that the Panthers' goaltending duo of Sergei Bobrovsky and Daniil Tarasov is set to become unrestricted free agents, Schmid might have an opportunity to command a sizable role in 2026-27. It will be worth monitoring what the Panthers do with their goaltending situation when free agency begins, but Schmid could be an intriguing sleeper for fantasy managers this coming season, even if he's working in tandem with another netminder. The 26-year-old Schmid went 16-10-6 with a 2.59 GAA and an .893 save percentage over 34 regular-season games with Vegas in 2025-26. He will need a new contract as well, as he is a restricted free agent.
