The 2018 first-round pick owns career averages of 10.0 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.5 assists across seven NBA seasons. He's slated to serve as wing depth off the bench for Denver during the 2026-27 campaign.

Nuggets' Peyton Watson: Nuggets make $70 million offer
The Nuggets offered Watson (hamstring) $70 million over five seasons, Tony Jones of The Athletic reports.
This offer comes in well below the $25 million annually that Watson was seeking. Christian Braun previously received a five-year, $125 million deal from the Nuggets and was clearly outplayed by Watson in 2025-26, but Denver holds the leverage. Watson is a restricted free agent, and his top suitors currently don't have the cap space to sign him.

The Nuggets matched the Thunder's two-year, $12 million offer sheet for Jones on Sunday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
The Nuggets will hold onto Jones after the Thunder offered him a deal Saturday. The 25-year-old wing went undrafted in 2024 and began his career on a two-way pact, though he was eventually upgraded to a standard deal in February. He appeared in 64 regular-season games (37 starts) in 2025-26, averaging 5.5 points, 3.3 rebounds, 0.8 assists and 0.8 steals across 22.1 minutes per contest.

Nuggets' Spencer Jones: Agrees to offer sheet with OKC
Jones agreed to a two-year, $12 million offer sheet with the Thunder on Saturday, Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.com reports.
After receiving a qualifying offer from the Nuggets earlier in the offseason, Jones entered restricted free agency and appears to have found a match with the Thunder. The Stanford product saw extended playing time during the 2025-26 regular season, averaging 5.5 points and 3.3 rebounds while shooting 50.4 percent from the field and 39.6 percent from beyond the arc in 22.1 minutes per contest across 64 appearances (37 starts). Denver will have until 11:59 p.m. ET on Sunday to match the offer, per Shams Charania of ESPN, but if the club opts not to, Jones will head to Oklahoma City, where he's likely to slot in as a reserve and provide depth on the wing.

Nuggets' Mark Sears: Dishes out six assists in SL win
Sears supplied 17 points (2-11 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 7-7 FT), six assists, one rebound and one steal across 28 minutes in Sunday's 96-89 Summer League win over the Raptors.
Sears turned in a lackluster shooting performance from the field, though he got to the charity stripe often and finished as Denver's second-leading scorer. The 24-year-old point guard also led the Nuggets in assists in their Summer League finale. After totaling 11 points on 4-of-14 shooting in his first two outings in Las Vegas, Sears combined for 43 points on 10-of-25 shooting in his final two Summer League appearances.

Nuggets' Trevon Brazile: Tacks on 19 points in SL
Brazile collected 19 points (7-17 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds, one assist and three blocks in 29 minutes during Thursday's 108-101 Summer League loss to the Trail Blazers.
Brazile put together a strong all-around showing, but it wasn't enough to propel the Nuggets to a victory. He's been on a tear offensively over his last two appearances, totaling 51 points while drilling 50.0 percent of his tries from the field during this brief stretch.

Nuggets' Bryce Hopkins: Scores 14 points with seven boards
Hopkins notched 14 points (6-14 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), seven rebounds, one assist and one steal in 27 minutes during Tuesday's 106-103 Las Vegas Summer League win over the Thunder.
Hopkins continues to play well in Las Vegas, reaching double figures in scoring while doing a nice job on the glass. The second-round pick is an intriguing prospect, but it'll be tough for him to carve out a rotation role while Cameron Johnson and Aaron Gordon remain healthy.
