Rockies' Hunter Goodman: Scratched from lineup
Goodman was scratched from Monday's lineup versus the Dodgers due to left shoulder inflammation, Kelsey Wingert-Linch of AT&T SportsNet Rocky Mountain reports.
Goodman had been slated to return from a three-game absence, but instead the Rockies have decided to hold him out for a fourth consecutive contest. There's no indication that he's suffered a setback, so consider Goodman day-to-day. Brett Sullivan will do the catching for Colorado on Monday.

Rockies' Hunter Goodman: Checking back into lineup Monday
Goodman (shoulder) will start at catcher and bat third in Monday's game against the Dodgers.
Goodman has been cleared to resume his usual duties behind plate following a three-game absence due to left shoulder inflammation. While the Rockies could look to build in an off day for Goodman during their six-game week at Coors Field, fantasy managers should have no hesitation about keeping the two-time All-Star catcher active now that he's been confirmed to start in the series opener with the Dodgers.

Rockies' Hunter Goodman: Belts two homers in victory
Goodman went 4-for-5 with two home runs and five total RBI in a 12-6 win over the Royals on Saturday.
Goodman continued his jaw-dropping campaign, launching a three-run homer in the third inning and a solo shot in the seventh before adding an RBI single in the eighth. The All-Star catcher had gone seven games without a home run coming into Saturday -- a relatively long stretch for him -- but is now up to 33 long balls on the season. That's tied for second most in the majors at any position, and Goodman has a legitimate shot at breaking the NL record for homers by a catcher in a campaign, which was set by Johnny Bench with 45 long balls in 1970.

Rockies' Hunter Goodman: Explodes for three homers
Goodman went 3-for-4 with three home runs and five RBI in Sunday's 9-6 loss to the Reds.

All three blasts were no-doubt shots, traveling 425, 435 and 442 feet. The catcher became the first player in Rockies history to record two three-homer games in the same season and now has 30 long balls on the year.
