An exciting and talented first-round pick out of Texas A&M, Concepcion is a great late-round snag after the 100th pick in your Fantasy drafts. Concepcion could emerge as Cleveland's top option in the passing game. He totaled 919 receiving yards and nine touchdowns with the Aggies last season and should have had a lot more production if not for some inaccurate deep balls from his quarterback. He can run by people and make them miss in the open field. Every season, we get a handful of late-round wide receivers who become top-24 options, with a couple of rookies typically in this group. Concepcion might be the most likely rookie WR drafted after the 100th pick (if he lasts that long) to become a must-start option. There is a downside: Concepcion struggled with drops in college, and he could have some target competition from Jerry Jeudy and fellow rookie Denzel Boston. The Browns' passing game could also be quite bad in 2026. But you could have made arguments against Ladd McConkey and Brian Thomas Jr. in their rookie seasons, and look at how that turned out. Betting on a talent like Concepcion is never a bad idea.
Concepcion (shoulder), who was shaken up during Monday's practice, is believed to have avoided a serious injury, NFL reporter Jordan Schultz reports.
Per the report, the Browns expect Concepcion, who appeared to sustain a right shoulder injury after a hard fall while trying to make a catch during the session, to be fine. With that in mind, consider the 2026 first-rounder, who has had a strong start to training camp, day-to-day as the team's Aug. 15 preseason opener against the Bears approaches.

Browns' KC Concepcion: Shaken up at practice Monday
Rotowire
Concepcion (shoulder) was shaken up while trying to make a catch during Monday's practice, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.
Per Oyefusi, the injury occurred during a two-minute drill, but Concepcion was able to walk off slowly afterward grabbing his right shoulder. Updates on the status of the 2026 first-rounder should emerge after Monday's practice, but when available, Concepcion is destined for a key role in a Browns WR corps that also features Jerry Jeudy and fellow rookie Denzel Boston.

Browns' KC Concepcion: To line up all over the formation
Rotowire
Zac Jackson of The Athletic suggests that Concepcion will line up all over the formation in the Browns' re-tooled WR corps, as the team looks for "the best ways to utilize his explosiveness."
It remains to be seen which QB will be throwing Concepcion the ball come Week 1, but whether that's Deshaun Watson or Shedeur Sanders, the 2026 first-rounder out of Texas A&M should have a chance to make an immediate impact this season alongside top returning WR Jerry Jeudy and rookie second-rounder Denzel Boston. Cedric Tillman, Isaiah Bond and Tylan Wallace also are in the mix, but Concepcion's projected role/upside make him an intriguing fantasy option regardless of the outcome of the team's looming signal-caller competition.
