    Analysis

    The Red Raiders have won five straight and come in with a full week of rest. While UCF is a solid team that has pulled off some impressive upsets at home, the Texas Tech duo of JT Toppin (22.1 ppg, 10.9 rpg) and Christian Anderson (19.8 ppg, 7.5 apg) isn't going to let that happen. The Red Raiders just put up 90 points against Houston's Top-10 defense. Back them to improve to 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games.

    Analysis

    Quite a number in Virginia Tech's home game of the year. VT is pretty decent, 4-1 at home in ACC play and 12-1 overall in its own gym. Bit of a letdown game maybe for the Blue Devils off a win over ranked Louisville on Monday to essentially already win the ACC regular-season title. Obviously long ways to go but sure seems that's gonna happen. But the Dukies often struggle in Blacksburg. I'd struggle too in a place where all the fans are wearing Davy Crockett coonskin hats and carrying muskets.

    Analysis

    Agreed, some very good efforts from the Spurs over the past month, but drill a bit deeper and note a very so-so 9-8 SU mark since after the Christmas win over the Thunder, alternating wins and losses the past two weeks. January setbacks to the likes of Portland, Memphis, and New Orleans suggest to be careful picking out proper spots to go with the Spurs, who haven't won back-to-back games on the road since before Christmas. The Hornets are the hotter of these two teams, leading NBA net rating in January, and with a five-game win streak entering this afternoon after Kon Knueppel's 34 points help see of the Mavs and Kon's old Duke teammate Cooper Flagg (49 points and all) on Thursday.     Analysis

    Scoring numbers still look impressive for William & Mary as the Tribe continues to tally north of 83 ppg, but there's no mistaking that scorelines have been slightly reduced in Coastal action. Though in truth, oddsmakers began adjusting the totals a bit too high earlier in the season for W&M, which is now on an 11-6 under run since later November. Across the last seven games, the Tribe is scoring about 7 ppg less than it had been earlier in the season, with three-point shooting now down to barely 33%.     Analysis

    The Wolfpack train is rolling and Will Wade's NCS is onto firmer footing with the Big Dance Selection Committee. Wade's portal haul is delivering as the Wolfpack is displaying great balance with four players scoring between 13-14 ppg, led by Nevada/Texas tech transfer F Darrion Williams (14.4 ppg) & G Quadir Copeland (14.3 ppg; followed Wade from McNeese). NCS also didn't have much trouble with Wake in Raleigh on New Year's Eve when easing to a 70-57 win, holding the Deacs to just 34% from the floor. Now the Pack goes the other direction on Tobacco Road to Winston-Salem, but host Wake is struggling, losing five of six as the offense has been relying too heavily upon G Juke Harris (20.4 ppg).
