Jaguars' Travon Walker: Signs extension with Jaguars
The Jaguars have signed Walker to a four-year extension, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Per Schefter, Walker's four-year, $100 million extension with Jacksonville includes $77 million guaranteed and $50 million fully guaranteed at signing. The No. 1 overall pick in the 2022 NFL draft is coming off a 2025 regular season in which he recorded 38 tackles, including 3.5 sacks, in 14 regular-season games, production that was down from his 2024 output of 61 tackles and 10.5 sacks in 17 regular-season contests. As long as the 25-year-old can avoid the injury bug, he's a candidate to bounce back in 2026, as he carries double-digit sack upside in his starting defensive end role.

Jaguars' Travon Walker: Sack total plummets in 2025
Walker posted 38 tackles (19 solo), including 3.5 sacks, and two pass defenses across 14 regular-season games in 2025 with the Jaguars.
The Jaguars exercised Walker's fifth-year option in April after he logged double-digit sacks in both 2023 and 2024. However, the fourth-year pro came nowhere close to that level of production in 2025, though that decreased production can be partially attributed to him dealing with wrist and knee injuries throughout the season. The 2026 season is the last year of Walker's contract, and it's possible that Jacksonville lets the 2022 first-rounder play out his rookie deal rather than offer an extension.

Walker hurt his knee against the Chargers in Week 11. He has missed Jacksonville's subsequent two games and hasn't practiced during that span. Walker's DNP to begin Week 14 prep isn't a good sign for his chance to return to action Sunday versus Indianapolis, but he'll have two more days this week to return to practice in some capacity.
