Bills' Tyrell Shavers: Moved to reserve/PUP list
Shavers (knee) was moved to the reserve/PUP list by the Bills on Sunday.
Shavers missed the entirety of training camp and the preseason while he continues to recover from a torn ACL that he suffered in the team's 27-24 win over the Jaguars in the 2025 wild-card round. The wide receiver will now be forced to sit out at least four contests to begin the regular season, and the earliest he'll be able to make his season debut is Week 5 against the Rams on Monday Night Football.

Bills' Tyrell Shavers: Starts camp on PUP list
The Bills placed Shavers (knee) on the active/PUP list Tuesday, Matt Parrino of The Syracuse Post-Standard reports.
Shavers tore his ACL during the Bills' 27-24 win over the Jaguars in the 2025 wild-card round. Shavers played in all 17 regular-season games during the 2025 season, catching 15 of 23 targets for 245 yards and one touchdown. It remains to be seen where the 26-year-old fits into the 2026 Bills' offensive scheme, as Joshua Palmer is returning from an ankle issue, and the team drafted Skyler Bell in the fourth round of the 2026 Draft.

Bills' Tyrell Shavers: Officially placed on IR
The Bills placed Shavers (ACL) on injured reserve Wednesday.
Shavers will miss the remainder of Buffalo's postseason run due to a torn ACL suffered during the team's wild-card round win over the Jaguars on Sunday. His injury leaves Khalil Shakir, Brandin Cooks and Keon Coleman as the only healthy options at wideout on the team's active roster, as Gabe Davis (knee) also suffered an ACL tear versus Jacksonville and was subsequentially placed on IR. Curtis Samuel (elbow) had his 21-day practice window opened Tuesday and was listed as a full participant in the team's walkthrough practice, so he could be an option to come off IR and provide added depth for Saturday's divisional-round matchup against Denver.

Head coach Sean McDermott announced Tuesday that Shavers (knee) sustained a torn ACL in the Bills' 27-24 win over the Jaguars in the wild-card round, Katherine Fitzgerald of The Buffalo News reports.
With Gabe Davis (knee) also suffering a season-ending ACL tear in the playoff opener, the Bills are currently left with just Khalil Shakir, Brandin Cooks and Keon Coleman as the lone healthy receivers on the 53-man roster, though Curtis Samuel (elbow) could be activated from injured reserve ahead of Saturday's divisional-round game in Denver. Given the timing of Shavers' ACL tear, his recovery from surgery is likely to extend into the 2026 season.

Bills head coach Sean McDermott said Monday that Shavers (knee) is being evaluated in the wake of Sunday's 27-24 wild-card win over the Jaguars, Katherine Fitzgerald of The Buffalo News reports.
Shavers briefly left the field Sunday to have a knee injury checked out by trainers, but he managed to retake the field, finishing the game with one catch for 14 yards (two targets). Meanwhile, McDermott has confirmed that Gabe Davis (knee) suffered a season-ending ACL tear Sunday. If Shavers is able to get fully healthy in time to face Denver in the AFC divisional round Saturday, he will stand to handle an increased role on offense due to Davis' absence.

Shavers caught one of two targets for 14 yards during Sunday's 27-24 wild-card win over the Jaguars.
Shavers returned to the game after having a knee injury checked out by trainers, but his only catch of the game came prior to his exit. The 26-year-old wide receiver has appeared in every game for the Bills since the start of the regular season. Barring a setback with his knee, Shavers will be available to fill his usual depth role on offense in the AFC divisional round Saturday at Denver, and he may be counted on even more than usual if teammate Gabe Davis can't recover from the knee injury he suffered Sunday.
