Red Sox's Garrett Crochet: Confirmed to be healthy
Crochet said after Monday's loss to the Twins that he's fine physically, and manager Alex Cora also said that Crochet is healthy, Christopher Smith of MassLive.com reports.
Boston's ace endured a career-worst start in Minnesota, allowing a whopping 10 earned runs in just 1.2 innings while inducing a mere three swings and misses on 55 pitches. His velocity was down 1.2 mph, but Crochet brushed off concerns about his velocity after the game, saying, "I don't think that's anything to fret over." Perhaps he was tipping pitches. Regardless, the No. 3 starter off the board during draft season is seemingly still healthy, and with that, Crochet remains in line to pitch Sunday at home against the Tigers.

Red Sox's Garrett Crochet: Pummeled for 10 earned runs
Crochet (2-2) took the loss Monday, allowing 11 runs (10 earned) on nine hits and three walks over 1.2 innings against the Twins. He did not record a strikeout.
Crochet was ambushed by the Twins' offense, allowing double-digit runs and being pulled before completing two full innings. The southpaw entered Monday's contest with a 3.12 ERA and 1.04 WHIP through his first three starts, but those marks have since jumped to a 7.58 ERA and 1.58 WHIP across 19 innings. He'll look to bounce back in his next outing, which is lined up to come Sunday against the Tigers.

Red Sox's Garrett Crochet: Strikes out seven in win Tuesday
Crochet (2-1) earned the win Tuesday against the Brewers, allowing two runs on five hits and two walks with seven strikeouts across 6.1 innings.
It was a nice rebound outing for Crochet after he was tagged for five runs (four earned) in a loss last Wednesday against the Astros. Crochet got back to using his fastball against Milwaukee, averaging 95.7 mph with the heater. Crochet got into some trouble in the seventh inning, allowing four of the five batters he faced to reach base, including a bases-loaded hit-by-pitch, but Zack Kelly was able to come on and get the final two outs to stop the bleeding. Crochet owns a 3.12 ERA and 22:4 K:BB across 17.1 innings. He'll take the mound in Minnesota on Monday for his fourth start.

Red Sox's Garrett Crochet: Stumbles vs. Houston
Crochet (1-1) took the loss Wednesday against the Astros, allowing five runs (four earned) on six hits across five innings. He struck out seven.
The left-hander shut out the Reds over six frames in his season debut, but it was a different story for Crochet on Wednesday. After giving up two runs in the first inning, the 26-year-old surrendered a two-run homer to Carlos Correa in the fifth in an eventual 6-4 defeat. Crochet will look to get back on track in his next outing, tentatively lined up for next week at home against the Brewers.

Red Sox's Garrett Crochet: Shuts down Reds in opener
Crochet (1-0) picked up the win Thursday against the Reds, allowing no runs on three hits and two walks in six innings. He struck out eight.
The All-Star southpaw found himself in midseason form in his season debut, firing six shutout frames and also notably escaping a bases-loaded jam to close his final frame. Crochet was also able to throw 80 pitches Thursday, and his final start during spring training saw him hurl 89 pitches. He should build up to closer to a full workload in his next start, which is slated to come in Houston next week.

Red Sox's Garrett Crochet: Unfazed by spring line
Crochet allowed six runs on six hits and two walks while striking out three over 5.1 innings in Saturday's spring start against Atlanta.
Crochet finished the Grapefruit League with an unsightly 7.36 ERA over 14.2 innings. Both the pitcher and Boston manager Alex Cora downplayed the spring results to Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com. Crochet attributed Saturday's line to missed locations and tinkering with a pitch mix he would normally avoid in a more competitive environment. The left-hander is set to pitch Opening Day on the road against the Reds.
