Marcus Rashford was the star for FC Barcelona in their 2-1 victory over Newcastle United in the Champions League opener for both sides. The former Manchester United striker scored a header in the 58th minute and then blasted home a second from distance to double Barcelona's lead. Anthony Gordon scored the lone goal for Newcastle, who could not repeat their famous Tino Asprilla inspired victory. Barcelona was without their star player Lamine Yamal.
