Despite entering the day at 0-2 and as heavy underdogs to the 2-0 Green Bay Packers, two massive plays by their special teams unit in the final 30 seconds of the game gave the Cleveland Browns a 13-10 upset win for their first victory of the season at home. After rallying from a 10-0 deficit to tie the game by late in the fourth quarter, the Browns would win the game by denying one potential game-winning field goal in favor of another.

After a field goal by kicker Andre Szmyt and a touchdown by Quinshon Judkins allowed the Browns to storm back into the game late in the fourth quarter, Packers kicker Brandon McManus lined up to attempt a 43-yard field goal that would have given Green Bay a 13-10 lead with 26 seconds left to play. But in another massive development in a late-game Packers meltdown -- Cleveland's touchdown was set up by a Grant Delpit interception of Jordan Love -- Shelby Harris would block the field goal, with Greg Newsome recovering the loose ball to set the Browns up near midfield.

Cleveland would move the ball into range for Szmyt to attempt a 55-yard game-winning field goal, which he would drill through the uprights to seal a 13-10 comeback victory to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Cleveland's famed "Dawg Pound" in style.

The Browns improved to 1-2 with their first win of the season, while the Packers -- despite Rasheed Walker's mid-week talk of how he felt Green Bay could go undefeated -- dropped to 2-1 with their first loss of the young season.

Browns block Packers' go-ahead field goal attempt, win on field goal of their own

Tied 10-all in the closing moments, the Browns' special teams ended up deciding today's game: WIth 26 seconds left to play, Packers kicker Brandon McManus lined up to put the Packers ahead with a 43 yard field goal attempt, only for the Browns to block the field goal and for Greg Newsome to recover the football near midfield.

The block put the Browns in business, as they were able to advance the ball enough to put kicker Andre Szmyt in position for a 55-yard field goal to win the game. The kick was good, giving the Browns a 13-10 victory for their first win of the season.
