Top Evan Mobley News

  • Cavaliers' Evan Mobley: Unstoppable in blowout victory

Mobley recorded 21 points (7-10 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 6-11 FT), 12 rebounds, six assists, two blocks and two steals in 36 minutes during Sunday's 125-94 win over the Pistons in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Mobley turned in yet another dominant performance, helping the Cavaliers to a comfortable victory in Game 7 against the Pistons. After an adequate regular season, Mobley appears to have saved his best for last, averaging 17.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 1.3 three-pointers and 3.0 combined steals and blocks thus far during the postseason. Both he and Jarrett Allen will need to be at their best when they come up against Karl-Anthony Towns and the Knicks in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Tuesday in New York.

  • Cavaliers' Evan Mobley: Flirts with triple-double in win

Mobley ended with 19 points (6-13 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 5-6 FT), eight rebounds, eight assists, three blocks and one steal over 43 minutes during Wednesday's 117-113 overtime victory over the Pistons in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Mobley continues to dominate on both ends of the floor, falling just short of what would have been his first triple-double of the season. At this point, Mobley has basically made Jalen Duren a non-factor, playing a massive role in what is now a 3-2 series lead. Thus far in the playoffs, Mobley has been fantastic, averaging 16.6 points, 7.8 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.3 three-pointers and 2.8 combined steals and blocks. Game 6 will be on Friday in Cleveland, where the Cavaliers will look to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals.

  • Cavaliers' Evan Mobley: Well-rounded effort in victory

Mobley closed with 17 points (6-11 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), eight rebounds, five assists, five blocks and three steals in 39 minutes during Monday's 112-103 win over the Pistons in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

The 2024-25 Defensive Player of the Year was dominant on the defensive end Monday, supplying a game- and series-best five swats while matching the game high in steals. Mobley also tied the game-high mark in rebounds and ended as Cleveland's third-leading scorer in an extremely well-rounded performance. The big man has tallied multiple blocks in all four games of this series and will look to continue that trend in Wednesday's Game 5 in Detroit.

  • Cavaliers' Evan Mobley: Swats two shots in Game 3 victory

Mobley recorded 13 points (4-6 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 5-10 FT), eight rebounds, four assists and two blocks in 36 minutes during Saturday's 116-109 victory over the Pistons in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Mobley struggled from the charity stripe during Saturday's win but still made his defensive presence felt with two blocks. The fifth-year big man has recorded at least two blocks in three consecutive games and four times across 10 postseason contests. Through the first three games of the Eastern Conference Semifinals, Mobley has averaged 12.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 1.0 threes, 2.3 blocks and 1.0 steals over 35.6 minutes per game.

  • Cavaliers' Evan Mobley: Held in check Tuesday

Mobley finished with 14 points (6-11 FG, 2-5 3Pt), nine rebounds, five assists and two blocks across 35 minutes during Tuesday's 111-101 loss to the Pistons in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Mobley fell one rebound short of a double-double, although he remained relatively quiet on the offensive end, scoring fewer than 15 points for the second straight game. Despite Jarrett Allen playing just 18 minutes due to foul trouble, Mobley couldn't turn his additional playing time into substantial production. Cleveland now trails 1-0 with Game 2 scheduled for Thursday. Should Detroit run with a smaller lineup once again, both Mobley and Allen could remain somewhat limited in terms of their effectiveness.

  • Cavaliers' Evan Mobley: Double-doubles in Game 6 defeat

Mobley notched 26 points (9-15 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 5-8 FT), 14 rebounds, three assists and one steal across 41 minutes in Friday's 112-110 overtime loss to the Raptors in Game 6 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Mobley turned in an efficient performance en route to a game- and series-best 26 points, albeit in a losing effort. The big man has reached the 20-point mark in back-to-back games and in three of six first-round outings. He also grabbed a game- and series-high 14 rebounds, securing his first double-double of the 2026 postseason. Mobley and the Cavaliers will look to bounce back and keep their season alive in Sunday's Game 7 in Cleveland.

  • Cavaliers' Evan Mobley: Kept quiet in Game 4 loss

Mobley chipped in eight points (4-11 FG, 0-3 3Pt), nine rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal over 32 minutes during Sunday's 93-89 loss to the Raptors in Game 4 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Mobley was kept quiet on the offensive end, tallying just eight points, the fewest he has scored in these playoffs. He certainly wasn't alone in underperforming, with many of his teammates delivering subpar efforts. With the series now tied at 2-2, the two teams will head back to Cleveland for what promises to be a pivotal Game 5.

  • Cavaliers' Evan Mobley: Struggles with shot

Mobley registered 15 points (4-13 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 7-8 FT), six rebounds, seven assists, one block and two steals in 33 minutes during Thursday's 126-104 loss to the Raptors in Game 3 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Similar to James Harden and Donovan Mitchell, it just wasn't Mobley's night offensively. He's had a strong series overall thus far, posting averages of 19.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 0.7 blocks in 33.0 minutes per contest.

  • Cavaliers' Evan Mobley: Posts 25 points in Game 2 victory

Mobley finished Monday's 115-105 Game 2 win over the Raptors in the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs with 25 points (11-13 FG, 1-2 3PT, 2-3 FT), eight rebounds, two assists and one block over 33 minutes.

It was another efficient effort from the field from Mobley, who scored 11 of his 25 points in the third quarter and finished as the Cavaliers' third-leading scorer behind Donovan Mitchell (30 points) and James Harden (28 points). Mobley has accumulated 42 points over the first two games of the series while going 17-for-22 (77.3 percent) from the field. The Cavaliers will travel to Toronto for Game 3 on Thursday, looking to go 3-0 up in the series.
